INTRODUCTION by MISTER KEYES [a.k.a. Tavis Riker]

Back in the haze of the mid-'80s. Steve Puchalski started SLIMETIME, and recruited some like-minded individuals to contribute reviews of sleazy cinematic fare from the "high minds watching low-brow" viewpoint. I signed in for duty early on, bringing a first person "NYC" spin to my films and venues of choice, and these columns hit the spot on occasion.

Such rarities as Rudy Ray Moore flicks and FOXY BROWN-level blaxploits are now readily rentable at your local Dustbuster Video. But knowing our enthusiasm for digging out these fine artworks at the time led us down some dank corridors, leading to tattered seats in now "renovated" grindhouses on and off The Deuce. Ah, nostalgia. Perhaps not. Laugh at will.
